Terms of Use
Last updated: September 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of adrag.org and related online services provided by the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Rotary Action Group and Alzheimers Rotary Foundation Inc. (collectively, “ADRAG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using this website, making a donation, becoming a supporting member, registering for an activity, or submitting information through the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. About ADRAG
ADRAG supports Rotary and Rotaract clubs, districts, caregivers, families, and communities through education, advocacy, awareness, fundraising, and projects relating to Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Information on this website is provided for general educational and charitable purposes.
3. Donations and Membership Contributions
Donations and membership contributions are processed in U.S. dollars unless another currency is clearly displayed before payment.
Donations support ADRAG’s charitable and educational activities. Unless expressly stated during checkout, a donation does not constitute the purchase of goods or services.
Supporting membership benefits, programs, events, and recognition may change from time to time. Membership contributions do not create an ownership interest in ADRAG.
You are responsible for providing accurate payment and contact information. ADRAG may decline, return, or restrict a contribution when reasonably necessary to comply with law, payment-network rules, organizational policies, or donor restrictions that ADRAG cannot honor.
4. Recurring Contributions and Cancellation
When you select a recurring contribution, you authorize the displayed amount to be charged at the frequency shown during checkout until you cancel it.
You may cancel future recurring charges at any time through any account-management or cancellation link provided with your payment receipt, or by emailing membership@adrag.org. Please submit a cancellation request before the next scheduled processing date.
Cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically refund contributions already processed.
5. Refund Policy
Charitable contributions and membership contributions are generally final and nonrefundable.
If a payment was made in error, duplicated, unauthorized, or processed for an incorrect amount, contact membership@adrag.org promptly. Include your name, payment date, amount, and a brief explanation. Do not email full payment-card numbers or card security codes.
ADRAG will review refund requests individually. Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method. Nothing in this policy limits any refund rights required by applicable law.
Because ADRAG primarily accepts charitable contributions, no physical product is shipped or delivered unless a specific offering expressly states otherwise. Separate terms will be displayed for any event tickets, merchandise, or other purchases.
6. Payment Processing and Security
Online payments may be processed by Stripe or another authorized payment or fundraising provider. Payment-card details entered into Stripe-hosted or Stripe-enabled payment forms are handled by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s terms and privacy practices.
ADRAG does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes on its website. Payment providers may use transaction and device information to process payments, prevent fraud, comply with law, and enforce payment-network rules.
Stripe’s Privacy Policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
7. Tax Matters
ADRAG may provide a receipt or payment confirmation. The deductibility of any contribution depends on applicable law and your individual circumstances.
ADRAG does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice. Please consult a qualified adviser regarding the tax treatment of a contribution. You are responsible for retaining receipts and other records needed for tax purposes.
8. Educational and Medical Disclaimer
Content relating to Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, caregiving, research, treatment, diagnosis, nutrition, or health is provided for general educational purposes only.
The website does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of information found on this website.
If you believe someone is experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activity.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, accounts, servers, or data.
Introduce malware or interfere with the website’s security or operation.
Scrape, copy, or systematically collect website content or personal information without authorization.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with ADRAG.
Use ADRAG’s name, marks, or materials in a way that falsely suggests endorsement or authorization.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, website text, graphics, logos, designs, and original materials are owned by or licensed to ADRAG and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and share public materials for personal, educational, and noncommercial purposes, provided that you preserve attribution and do not alter the material in a misleading manner.
Third-party names, logos, and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may link to Rotary organizations, research institutions, charities, fundraising platforms, payment providers, marketplaces, social networks, and other third parties.
ADRAG does not control third-party websites or services and is not responsible for their availability, security, content, products, policies, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.”
ADRAG does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, or suitable for a particular purpose. Research, programs, event information, partner information, and external resources may change.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ADRAG and its directors, officers, volunteers, employees, representatives, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold ADRAG harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses resulting from your unlawful use of the website, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
15. Changes and Availability
ADRAG may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
ADRAG may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website when reasonably necessary.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where ADRAG principally operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.
