ADRAG to Welcome Rotary Members from Around the World at the 2026 Rotary International Convention in Taipei

The Alzheimer’s / Dementia Rotary Action Group (ADRAG) is excited to announce its participation in the 2026 Rotary International Convention in Taipei, Taiwan, where it will host a booth in the House of Friendship from June 13–17, 2026.

ADRAG has been assigned Booth #356 and invites Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, and guests from around the world to stop by and learn more about the organization’s growing efforts to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, support caregivers, promote brain health, and advance Rotary’s role in addressing one of the world’s most pressing health challenges.

The Rotary International Convention is Rotary’s premier annual gathering, bringing together tens of thousands of Rotary members from more than 200 countries and geographic regions. The event provides an opportunity for Rotary members to celebrate service, exchange ideas, build international friendships, and discover projects and organizations making a difference around the globe.

Located within the House of Friendship, ADRAG’s booth will serve as a gathering place for those interested in learning more about dementia awareness, advocacy initiatives, educational resources, club engagement opportunities, and the organization’s partnerships with leading Alzheimer’s and dementia-focused organizations.

Visitors will be able to meet ADRAG leaders and volunteers, learn about the group’s Ambassador and Club Champion programs, and explore ways Rotary clubs can become more involved in supporting individuals and families affected by dementia.

Among those expected to visit the booth is ADRAG Secretary Dr. Laura Garrett, who has been instrumental in helping guide the organization’s continued growth and international outreach.

Also volunteering at the booth will be Calvin Hara of Honolulu, Hawaii, a longtime advocate for Alzheimer’s awareness and one of ADRAG’s earliest champions in Rotary District 5000. Hara helped spearhead Alzheimer’s and dementia awareness efforts throughout Hawaii and serves as ADRAG Club Champion for the Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise (RoCKS) in Honolulu. His leadership has helped introduce ADRAG’s mission to Rotary clubs across the islands while encouraging greater understanding of the impact dementia has on individuals, families, and communities.

Joining the team will be Alic Zeng, ADRAG Committee Chair for Rotaract and Interact Engagement. Zeng has been leading efforts to expand awareness among Rotary’s younger generations of leaders and to encourage meaningful involvement by Rotaractors and Interactors in dementia education, advocacy, and community service initiatives.

As Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias continue to affect millions of individuals worldwide, ADRAG’s presence at the Rotary International Convention reflects the organization’s commitment to building a global network of advocates dedicated to education, support, research awareness, and action.

Whether attendees are already involved with ADRAG or simply interested in learning more, Booth #356 will offer an opportunity to connect with fellow advocates and discover how Rotary can help create more dementia-friendly communities around the world.

ADRAG looks forward to welcoming convention attendees to Booth #356 in Taipei and sharing how Rotary members everywhere can be part of the growing movement to bring hope, awareness, and support to those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
